It’s a roller coaster. It’s filled with highs and lows but you’ll enjoy the ride as long as you stay true to yourself.
What are three things you wish you knew about blogging before you started?
I would say the technology aspect. Honestly, I still don’t know a lot and I definitely ask for help instead of letting it frustrate me.
What skills and qualities do you think are necessary for a successful and professional blogger?
Consistency and passion are huge. If you don’t love what you’re doing you won’t have the passion to constantly do it.
What has blogging taught you/given you that no other career or job has before?
Community. I’ve never felt connected with people from work as I do with some of my blogger friends. The connections I’ve made with some of the most amazing women are priceless.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in the blog world?
Be patient with yourself and go with the flow. Don’t be afraid to start and make adjustments when needed but start.

I’m great at covering events and making you feel like you’re right there with me.
What topic do you most enjoy writing about?
Events and Food & Beverage.
What would your dream partnership look like?
I would say traveling and covering events and food and beverage gatherings. My “It” trip would be a trip to Spain and experience Food & Beverage over there. I’m open to working with different brands as long as they are diverse and inclusive.

I’m currently working on doing some fun interactive hosting. So connecting with local places and creating fun new experiences.
What does a typical workday for you look like?
A typical work day, WOW! I’m a mom of 3. I work for the local school district full time. I work with kids who have special needs. I’m a proud advocate for exceptional children. My current position I work with kids who have Autism. My mornings are mommy mode with breakfast and school drop offs then I go into Ms. Taylor mode for my students. Then I’m The Fashionable Traveler for Instagram in the evening.

The lack of diversity and inclusivity. It’s an ongoing struggle.
What’s your guilty pleasure TV show?
The show “YOU” I hate that I love it! I’m into psychological thrillers. It’s always the type of show I would pick.
