Tell us more about you and your blog
I started blogging 5 years ago to style and promote my jewelry line. Brands started reaching out and before I knew it I found myself in the blogging business. I rebranded two years ago and shifted my focus to blogging and have been growing ever since.
What people don’t realize about blogging is…
it’s hard work!
What are 3 things you wish you knew about blogging before you started?
SEO, photography and web design – I’ve learned so much about all 3 since I started but now I look back at some early posts and wonder what the heck I was thinking!
What’s been your most memorable moment as a blogger?
I attended The Blog Societies 5th Annual Conference in 2017 – It was my first blogging conference and a turning point for my blog. I met so many great women and bloggers that I can honestly call friends. It was also my first time in Chicago and I came home with so many stories!
Give us your best tip for maintaining a blog work/life balance
Actually having a balance. It’s really easy to compare yourself to others and become a blogaholic or workaholic to get where you want to be but that’s not healthy. If you’re working hard and staying organized then you can feel confident in what you have done and afford a few hours or days away from your phone. I try to do what I need to do during the week so I can spend time with my family on the weekends.

Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met?
What is your guilty pleasure?
Southern Charm – I love Charleston and seeing my favorite stops highlighted but I also love the drama and the crazy stories.
What’s one product you can’t live without?
Sunglasses. I cannot go outside without them. I also just love them and all the different styles.
What’s been your favorite part of being a member of The Blog Societies?
I’ve learned so many “little” things since joining The Blog Societies and being around so many incredible women. I’ve become more efficient and strategic in my blogging just from listening and watching others.
