May There Be Bubbly is a fashion and lifestyle blog written by Taylor Ash. Taylor is a marketing manager, baby apparel obsessed, fashion loving, family woman who believes life and style are art forms. She loves to share all things chic and feminine. However, in her blog, you will find a few things sure to please everyone. She started May There Be Bubbly as a creative outlet after having her first child. She wanted a place where she could be creative, share her passions, inspire other women, and see where her little brand goes!

Where did the name come from?

The inspiration for May There Be Bubbly came from the idea that we should always find a reason to celebrate, no matter how big or small the achievements in our life!

What people don’t realize about blogging is…

There is WAY more to it than a pretty photo! Blogging is extremely hard work, and I’ve found that out in my first year. But, I absolutely love the challenge and continuing to learn all of the ins and outs from the advice I’ve received from other amazing blogging women.

What are 3 things you wish you knew about blogging before you started?

  1. It’s a huge money investment in the beginning
  2. Learning how to grow your social following is a huge algorithm game
  3. Comparing yourself to other bloggers is the worst thing you can do!

What’s been your most memorable moment as a blogger?

My favorite memory is the first time I ever reached out to local brands to team up for a fun giveaway. I was so nervous and negative in my mind about what their responses would be, and I ended up pleasantly surprised. You never know until you ask, and I am so glad I have reached out to local brands/companies in my city. It has helped me meet amazing female entrepreneurs and create relationships that have been so fun!

Give us your best tip for maintaining a blog work/life balance

Writing everything out on to-do lists and calendars have been a savior for me! Sometimes I’m scattered and not as organized, but writing it all down has helped my mind tremendously by being able to stay on top of things. I have lists for all sorts of things: blog topic ideas, photo shoot ideas, press to-do lists/contacts and content planning.

What’s been your favorite post you’ve worked on?

My favorite post I have written is one on what I learned the first 5 months of motherhood! It was the first time I got personal on my blog and put myself out there to be vulnerable as a new mom. The response I received from other moms just overjoyed my heart and gave me the confidence to know that “wow I can totally do this blog thing and inspire other women!”
