I own SociallyUP, a digital marketing agency in Bloomington Indiana (as well as a pizza restaurant (Swing-in Pizza) and a gift box company (BTown Box). I’m an active and ambitious entrepreneur and I blog mainly about lifestyle and career topics. I love empowering women to find their entrepreneurial confidence.
Give us your best tip for staying on top of the blog/work/life balance!
Hustle Hard is an overused term. I feel social media is teaching everyone to hustle in inauthentic ways. I think the best way to stay on top of work/life is to work smart and be authentic while setting realistic goals.

It can be an actual career and not just a hobby.
What are three things you wish you knew about blogging before you started?
I wish I could start over and not focus on numbers, only focus on content, and make more friends who like to blog and not just meaninglessly sell/use affiliate links.
What skills and qualities do you think are necessary for a successful and professional blogger?
Professionalism, career mindset, and the ability to be authentic.
What has blogging taught you/given you that no other career or job has before?
Confidence.

I’m a full-time agency owner. I feel like I work all of the time and occasionally get to scroll TikTok ha!
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in the blog world?
Don’t join LTK.
What is one thing in the blogging industry that frustrates you that you wish you could change?
I wish more bloggers were relatable.
What would your dream partnership look like? From the brand, the content, all of it! Dream up your perfect collaboration.
My dream collaboration would be to lead workshops that teach bloggers how to be empowered by tech and not scared of it, SEO tips, and career advice.
What is a current blogging goal you are working on?
Creating course content for creatives.
