TWO Things I Wish I Did From Day ONE

I almost always get asked "what did you wish you knew when you first started blogging". And the answer has never changed. It has always been, and will always be, these two things.

One - Writing helpful blog content while keeping SEO in mind. This would have driven more traffic to my blog, which means more ad revenue and affiliate revenue. Posts under 300 words are thin content, and hurtful to your site. I have hundreds of these posts from back in the day. Start writing good posts from day one.

Two - Have a newsletter with a GOOD freebie. I kick myself all the time thinking of ALL the subscribers I would have had if I set this up from the beginning. Newsletters convert well, it's a great way to stay connected to your audience, and you OWN it. No relying on Instagram or TikTok.
