I am a Chicago-based blogger sharing fashion finds and everyday style, with some travel content mixed in!
What’s your favorite WordPress plugin and how has it helped your business?
MonsterInsights – I can quickly check how my analytics are looking right from my WordPress dashboard.
What skills and qualities do you think are necessary for a successful and professional blogger?
You have to be willing to put in the work. I see so many people that want to become a big influencer and think they will get there overnight. It takes a lot of work to get there.
What has blogging taught you/given you that no other career or job has before?
If you truly love what you do, you won’t mind Mondays. I’ve found myself becoming excited for Mondays and all of the new things I could do with a brand new week.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in the blog world?
Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, just focus on doing your thing.
What does a typical workday for you look like? Whether you’re a full-time blogger or not, we’d love to learn what your schedule looks like and how you manage it all.
I usually start a little later than most 9-5ers. This is mostly because peak online retail hours are early evening when most people have wrapped up their workday. So I start my workday later and end my workday later.
What is one thing in the blogging industry that frustrates you that you wish you could change?
The lack of inclusivity.
How has your content changed since you first started blogging?
I wouldn’t say it has changed that much, there is just way more of it now.
What topic do you most enjoy writing about?
Planning what to pack for an event or trip.
What’s your favorite blogging memory or highlight?
The day I was accepted to LTK. I joined a while ago when it was very hard to get accepted and I had applied 3x and had to wait 6 months between each application.
