Tell us more about you and your blog?

Coming Up Roses is a hub of authentic inspiration, achievable style and beauty, and affordable lifestyle for ambitious millennial women! It started out of my college dorm room as a creative escape, in the hopes of genuinely uplifting  and inspiring other girls while providing something fun and relatable for others in need of a daily break.

What people don’t realize about blogging is…

How much time and work it really is! To be successful as a blogger, you have to wear many hats, and all well. Writer, editor, creative director, photographer, graphic designer, developer, communications director, social media manager – you do it all!

What are 3 things you wish you knew about blogging before you started?

  1. Take photography super seriously from the very beginning.
  2. Not every opportunity is created equal.
  3. It takes money to make money sometimes!

What’s been your most memorable moment as a blogger?

That’s a three-way toss-up between my first press trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico, speaking on a panel about blogging in NYC and meeting readers there, and making my absolute best friends from the internet.

Give us your best tip for maintaining a blog work/life balance?

Create a schedule and stick with it! Discipline is the KEY. Know when to be tough on yourself, versus when to give yourself grace.

What is your guilty pleasure?

What’s one product you can’t live without?

What’s been your favorite part of being a member of The Blog Societies?

I met so many online friends IRL and made SO many great brand connections at TBScon 2017 – they’ve turned into some of my profitable and mutually beneficial collaborations of the year!
