Hi Courtney! What’s the name of your blog?

NP Courtney.

Where are you from?

Columbus, Ohio.

Tell us a little bit more about you and your blog, NP Courtney.

My name is Courtney and I’m a young breast cancer survivor, mother, nurse practitioner, professor, legal nurse consultant, plant mama wannabe, and lifestyle blogger. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35, right as the COVID-19 pandemic hit the peak of the first wave. Personally, I struggled to find other women my age who had gone through what I was going through. I felt isolated (on many levels), but found a few women to lean on, who got me through the darkest time after my initial diagnosis. They say it takes a village, and this could not be more true! NP Courtney was created to be not only a space for me to share about my cancer journey, but also a place to grow connections with other nurses, nurse practitioners and health care professionals, lovers of beauty, and fellow moms. I’m currently cancer-free and recently had a reconstruction revision in December 2020. Now that my treatment is complete, I share snippets of my life, both personal and professional.

How many years have you been blogging at NP Courtney?

Less than a year.
