Tell us more about you and your blog, She’s ChaRISSmatic

I began vlogging on YouTube in 2011 with an emphasis on documenting my own natural hair journey. Before I knew it, I’d grown that audience to over 80,000 subscribers. I’ve always loved to write and wanted to share with a global audience about more than just natural hair so I was inspired to start She’s ChaRISSmatic. Inception of my blog came at a time when I was also working full time in corporate America but that also fueled my fire because it helped me to realize how badly I wanted to design the life of my dreams and become a full-time entrepreneur.

Give us your best tip for maintaining a blog work/life balance

My best tip for staying on top of the blog/work/life balance, especially as a new mom, is mastering the art of ‘fluidity’. For me, that means getting in the habit of constantly reevaluating, prioritizing and re-organizing your to-do list as things on your never-ending to-do list pop up.
