Hey, it's nice to meet you - I'm Jessica!

I’ve been blogging and influencing since 2011 and have seen the changes in the industry while navigating my own path. I have always loved sharing my knowledge and lessons learned with my blogging friends and that’s why TBS was founded. To be a place to share knowledge, resources and build community. This industry can feel isolating and lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. Let TBS be your community and support system.

I’m on a mission to create a blog community where creators can flourish with confidence.

The Blog Societies was founded in 2013 on the idea that this job doesn’t need to be done alone. While you may be the sole face of your influencing business, you should have a support system behind you every step of the way.

The Blog Societies was founded by two fashion bloggers looking for a community where they can network and learn from one another. As blogging friends, Jessica Camerata of An Indigo Day and Cathy Peshek of Poor Little It Girl, quickly learned that having someone in the same industry as you helps you grow, adapt and build a better business with the support of others.

In an effort to help their own blogging community as well as others in the Southeast, Southern Blog Society was created. After three years and countless members later, Southern Blog Society expanded nationally to The Blog Societies in the fall of 2015.

In 2022, Cathy stepped away from The Blog Societies to focus on family and her own business. She has been an integral part of this community and TBS would not be where it is today without her.
